A Synopsis (Into My Life)

Kaylene has been writing passionately since she was eight and has dedicated herself to turning that lifelong love of storytelling into a career. When she’s not traveling (or writing on a plane), she can often be found by the ocean, curled up under a heated blanket, or tucked into a late-night tea shop (cream in her tea is non-negotiable). A former avid dancer, she sometimes slips on her ballet slippers for a bit of nostalgia and movement.
She earned her BAS in Psychology with a minor in Criminology, developing a strong interest in clinical studies, brain disorders, neuroscience, recidivism, juvenile justice, court systems, and forensics. Even with a busy course load, she made time to pursue intensive English classes in creative writing, poetry, and Shakespearean studies (yes, she actually did all that and lived to tell the tale).
Over the years, she has focused on consistently writing, cultivating an engaged social media presence, and immersing herself in the publishing world while working in the ABA field. She regularly attends writing events, participates in pitch sessions, and stays closely connected to the contemporary book landscape, building relationships with agents, narrators, editors, fellow authors, and artists alike.
